Most recognized as lead songwriter, guitar player for Nantucket, Tommy is famous for his crazy onstage antics from auctioneer and square dance intros to playing solos with a spoon and slide guitar with a beer bottle. Tommy Redd with Nantucket received the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Charlotte Music Awards in 2008. Tommy and Nantucket were also inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame. Tommy Redd is a proud member of The Americana Music Association.
